Join us for an exciting opportunity as a Pharmacy Summer Camp Program Assistant at East Tennessee State University! This position is for our engaging 5-day Summer Camp, running from June 2-6, 2025. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with lunch provided for staff each day.

As a Program Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for our camp participants. You'll work closely with the camp director to supervise activities and facilitate a variety of engaging programs. Your responsibilities will include overseeing a designated group of participants, ensuring their safety, and assisting with the delivery of camp activities. You may also have the opportunity to drive program vans to transport participants to off-campus sites.

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who can provide guidance, motivation, and support to our campers. Prior to the camp, you may be invited to participate in an orientation and planning meeting to help prepare for a successful week.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality,

* Ability to understand the roles and responsibilities of a counselor in maintaining a healthy and safe environment during the program.

* Ability to promote cooperation and identify and resolve conflicts with students.

Required Qualifications

* Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

* Must be a currently enrolled College of Pharmacy Student

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with school-aged students

* Experience as a tutor, camp counselor, or similar position

Salary 17.50/hr
