Job Summary:

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for managing all aspects of project assignments related to tankless water heater development. This role involves planning, organizing, implementing, and completing engineering projects while ensuring alignment with business and manufacturing objectives.


Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 Per Year

Location: Johnson City, TN


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project development efforts, focusing on mechanical and manufacturing aspects of tankless water heater design.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure up-to-date records.
  • Contribute to business and facility strategies to support product line growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing and management to define project specifications and scope.
  • Utilize project management methodologies to meet objectives efficiently.
  • Coordinate with various departments to communicate project progress and resolve technical challenges.
  • Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, industry standards, and customer requirements.
  • Identify and implement design changes and improvements as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams.
  • Develop project expense estimates and manage expenditures within budget constraints.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in engineering or product development.
  • Experience in gas-powered tankless water heater design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical reports and design specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
