Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced leader to oversee our Logistic Material Handling operations.

You will manage stock, ensure timely material supply, and coordinate with various departments to optimize workflows.

You will lead a team, implement cost-effective solutions, and drive continuous improvement.

This role requires strong expertise in material management, software systems, and process optimization, along with the ability to achieve key performance targets in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Mission:

• Stock Management: Oversee and manage stock levels of semi-finished products to ensure seamless assembly processes.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Ensure timely supply of raw materials, aligning with production needs and promptly addressing changes in customer orders.
• Information Exchange: Facilitate communication with departments such as Store, Export, and AV Assembly to streamline material and information flow.
• Team and Equipment Management: Manage staff and equipment effectively, ensuring high efficiency and collaboration with plant departments.
• Emergency Coordination: Implement exceptional measures during supply disruptions to meet customer needs.
• Daily Controls: Monitor and control stock availability on a daily basis.
• Planning and Organization: Organize and plan changes related to Baugruppen.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Exchange information with Production, Export, Import, and Technical Service departments.
• Objective Achievement: Contribute to the department's goals and adhere to procedural instructions.
• Discrepancy Reporting: Alert management to any discrepancies in the delivery plan or material shortages.
• KPI Evaluation: Assess and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve issues such as over/short stock in production lines.
• Cost-Effective Solutions: Find and implement cost-effective solutions for line feeding processes.

Requirements:

• University diploma in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of material management principles.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Logisticsin the automotivefield.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• LEAN / Six Sigma methodologies, VDA6.3 / IATF16949 standards.
