Housekeeper Position Summary
The Housekeeper carries out all cleaning duties as directed by the Administrator and Environmental Services Director according to required policies and procedures. Their role also includes the following responsibilities:
Follow all cleaning schedules, completing daily assignments.
Maintain a high standard of presentation always adhering to infection control policies.
Ensure all equipment is used correctly and safely.
Complete daily documentation as necessary.
Assist with room readiness for admissions and/or room changes.
Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator, Environmental Services Director, or Regional Director of Maintenance.
Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
Housekeeper Requirements
High School diploma or GED
Long-term care or applicable experience preferred
