Fabricator
Bring your experience and ideas and help us bring the highest quality products and service to our customers. This role will be an integral part of the manufacturing team. You'll be able to hone your technical abilities through performing fabrication of parts for Aeronautical Accessories' manufacturing department under general supervision.
What you'll be doing as a Fabricator
Perform basic window and plastic fabrication under supervision.
Assist with 1st piece inspection and completion of work orders.
Identify and record parts and serial numbers for plastics and windows.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
Qualifications
Skills You Bring To this Role
Ability to perform basic fabrication duties (i.e. sawing, trimming, routing, cleaning).
Familiarity and experience with basic measuring equipment.
Ability to read and understand blueprints/manufacturing drawings and work instructions preferred.
Experience working with vacuum form machines preferred.
Forklift operation experience preferred.
What you need to be successful
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
0-2 years of experience relevant to job duties
