Are you eager to utilize your legal expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We are seeking a seasoned Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent our top-tier insurance company clients in a variety of complex legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense, bodily injury law, and premises liability. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities:

As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will:

1. Provide comprehensive legal representation to our insurance company clients in all aspects of insurance defense litigation.
2. Handle a caseload of primarily bodily injury and premises liability cases from inception through trial.
3. Draft legal pleadings, motions, discovery, and responses.
4. Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts.
5. Engage in settlement negotiations and mediations.
6. Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguing cases persuasively.
7. Stay current on legal trends and changes in insurance law to provide the most effective advice and representation.
8. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Insurance Defense Attorney position, you must possess the following:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of three years of experience as a defense attorney, with a focus on insurance defense.
4. Proven experience in bodily injury law and premises liability.
5. Exceptional litigation skills, with experience in taking and defending depositions, drafting pleadings, and negotiating settlements.
6. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
8. Ability to manage a large caseload and work independently.
9. Commitment to adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards.
